As a Taeyeon bias, I’m always looking forward to her releases. Her voice is so emotional and expressive, the piano accompaniment created the perfect pairing for this song . This song had me reminiscing about long-distance relationships and that yearning to just have that person in front of you.

DAY6 returns with an anthemic pop piece full of energy perfect for the summer. This is the type of song I love blasting in the car. The driving chorus followed by a chanted section are definitely the highlights for me.

Suran releases another digital single and it does not disappoint. The heavily filtered pre-chorus is the perfect build-up for the tropical chorus. Another chill summer song added to my playlist.

HYO (Hyoyeon) - Badster
DJ HYO is back with a psytrance jam. As a SONE, I love the direction Hyoyeon is going as an EDM DJ. The neck-breaking pace of the percussion coupled with the synths and a slew of electronic samples create a high tempo instrumental perfect for working out.

Dongkiz - Blockbuster
This is the first time I’ve heard of this group and what a great song to be introduced to them. The instantly recognizable main riff comes from a sample of the Ghostbusters theme. Incorporated into the song well with funk-pop verse reminiscent of Seventeen, this song is just pure fun.
